National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a common and uniform entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to various undergraduate courses (Medical/Dental/Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Homeopathy). NEET exam for the academic session 2020-2021 shall be conducted on 3 May 2020 in various test centers across the country.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate seeking admission to MBBS / BDS course through NEET UG should fulfill the below given criteria:

  • Candidate should have completed age of 17 years at the time of MBBS admission/BDS admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission
  • Candidate should have passed in 12th Std. or equivalent examination with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology. In case of SC/ST/OBC, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination should be 40% marks. In case of PwD candidates, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination should be 45% marks

Candidates desirous of appearing for NEET UG entrance examination are required to apply through on-line mode only. The steps involved in online application are as follows:

  • Visit NTA official website
  • Click on New Registration
  • Fill in details to generate Application Number and Password
  • Login to the Application portal
  • Fill in Personal Details , Place of Birth, Medium of Question Paper, Exam City, Academic Details, Address, Parent/Guardian Details
  • Submit Application
  • Upload scanned image of Photograph, Signature and Left Thumb Impression
  • Make Application Fee Payment
  • Print Confirmation Page
