Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram also is known as Thiruvananthapuram Medical College was founded in the year 1951. It is the first medical college in the state dedicated to Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
Medical College Thiruvananthapuram is the oldest medical college in Kerala. The college has ranked 21st in an India Today survey. The medical college was formed to provide the Education and Health Care services for the people of Kerala and nearby States.
