Osmania Medical College was established in the year 1846, by the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad and Berar - 'Mir Osman Ali Khan. The college is located in Hyderabad.

Osmania Medical College is one of the oldest and most renowned medical colleges in India. It was established for the benefit of the sick, poor, the wounded and also to afford better facilities to medical students to acquire wide experience of patients and diseases.

The college is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, and is recognised by the Medical Council of India.

The college admits 200 MBBS students, 274 PG medical students and 42 students for super-specialty courses every year.

Osmania Medical College is attached to 1200 bedded Osmania General Hospital. Besides, this college also has several other affiliated hospitals where undergraduate and postgraduate training is impaired.

The college is spread over an area of 20 acres and has modern infrastructure and facilities.
