Candidates should follow the below given instructions for entry of options:

  • Before entering the options for MDS course and subject, candidates should note that each college would have four different categories (G, P, N and Q). Each category has separate fee structure
  • The college code ending with “DG” indicates Government Seats in Government dental colleges and Govt. quota seats in Private dental colleges;  the college code ending with  “DP” indicates Private Seats; the college code ending with “DN” indicates NRI Seats and the college ending with “DQ” indicates Other Seats
  • Candidate should login to KEA option entry portal by submitting required information. Upon entry of preliminary information, the option entry form will be displayed
  • The option entry form contains priority order number, discipline, college name, college code and the subject code. 
  • Candidate should give the priority order number from among the list of colleges and courses.
  • Candidate should enter the course/college of his/her choice from among the seats available or may enter all the options in the discipline to which he/she is eligible
  • Once the options are entered, candidate should take printout of the options entered for further references

There is no limit for entry of options. A candidate can enter any number of options as he/she wishes to exercise in his/her own priority.

If a candidate fails to enter options in the first round of PG dental counselling, he/she will not be eligible to participate in further round of seat allotment process.

Candidates who are allotted PG dental seat in the first round of counselling should exercise any one of the following choices mandatorily:

Choice 1: “Satisfied with the allotted seat and candidate is willing to report to the allotted college, not interested in further allotment of seats in any subsequent round for any discipline”. Such candidates should undergo Biometric verification, pay prescribed fees, submit documents, obtain admission letter and report to the allotted dental college as per the schedule.

Choice 2: “Satisfied with the allotted seat but wishes to participate in the next round”. Such candidates should pay the prescribed fees and submit the original documents on notified dates and wait for the second round.

Choice 3: “Not satisfied with the current allotment and wishes to participate in the next round of counselling”. Such candidates should submit original documents on notified dates and wait for the second round.

Choice 4: “Not satisfied with KEA allotted seat and candidate has got seat elsewhere, so candidate is quitting and not to be considered for allotment of seats in any of the further rounds. Not eligible to participate in the subsequent round and no hold on the allotted seat and seat allotted earlier will get cancelled”.

The steps involved in the first round of KEA counselling through NEET MDS are as follows:

  • Fresh Online Registration (Subject to directions of the Govt., otherwise there will not be fresh online registrations)
  • Document Verification for Freshly Registered Candidates, if any
  • Deposition of Original Documents by First Round Choice 2 fee paid candidates, Choice 3 candidates & unallotted candidates
  • Rearrangement of Options
  • Publication of Second Round Result
  • Payment of Fees and Collection of Allotment Order
  • Reporting at the Allotted Dental College

Yes. Candidates have to submit their original documents at KEA in order to participate in the second round of PG dental counselling.

The following candidates are eligible to participate in the second round of KEA counselling:

  • Choice 2 candidates of first round who have made the payment and deposited the original documents
  • Choice 3 candidates of first round who have deposited the original documents
  • Not allotted any seat in first round and deposited the original documents
  • Candidate who has been allotted a seat in second round of AIQ or Deemed University but has not joined the allotted college, and exits with forfeiture clause, shall be allowed to participate in the second round of state counseling subject to deposition of original documents at KEA

The following candidates are not eligible to participate in the second round of KEA counselling:

  • Candidates who have failed to exercise any choice even after seat allotment in the first round
  • Candidates who have exercised Choice 2 in the first round but failed to make the payment for the seat confirmed by them or failed to deposit the original documents
  • After seat allotment in the first round, candidates who have exercised Choice 1 but failed to collect the Admission Order
  • Choice 1 candidates of first round who collected admission order but failed to report to the allotted college
  • Candidates who have exercised Choice 3 in the first round but failed to deposit the original documents
  • Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in the first round but failed to deposit the original documents
  • After seat allotment in the first round, candidates who have exercised Choice 1 or Choice 2 and cancelled/surrendered the seat

Candidates who are allotted MDS seat in this round are required to pay the prescribed fees (if not paid), collect the admission order and should compulsorily report to the college on or before the last date mentioned in the admission order and should update the details through their log-in to KEA or else they lose their allotted seats.

The following candidates are eligible to participate in the mop up round:

  • Candidates who have been allotted non-clinical seat but not joined will be allowed to participate in KEA PG counseling for clinical seats only in the mop up round.
  • Fresh candidates who have not registered earlier.

The following candidates are eligible to participate in the mop up round of KEA counselling:

  • Candidates who are admitted to any MDS seat allotted through AIQ//Deemed University/Central University counselling
  • Candidates who are admitted in the first round and second round of KEA PG counselling or allotted and cancelled seat in KEA
  • Candidates allotted MDS seat in the first round and have exercised Choice 1 or Choice 4
  • Candidates who are admitted in any other State/Boards PG counselling
  • Candidates who have not submitted original documents to KEA on the scheduled date before mop up round

The guidelines to participate in the mop up round of counselling are as follows:

  • Candidates should register their interest in participating in the mop up round and download entry pass 
  • Candidates have to be physically present for counselling process
  • Candidates should carry mop up round Entry Pass
  • Candidates should compulsorily pay the prescribed fees in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Executive Director, KEA” payable at Bangalore. Candidates  should carry multiple Demand Drafts of different denominations

Candidates who have registered earlier and completed document verification would need to register their interest in participating in the mop up round of counselling on the KEA portal as per the schedule. Further, they must download the Entry Pass for mop up round, which will be enabled on submission of original documents.
